The collapse of a crane in downtown Manhattan has claimed the life of a pedestrian walking through the site, in addition to injuring three others. Following this fatal accident, New York has initiated an update in their crane safety plan. This safety plan is geared towards protecting pedestrians and passersby from potential accidents and injuries in the future.
