Stefano Boeri Is Creating Another Forest Skyscraper

February 9, 2016

A 117 meter residential “forest skyscraper” is being planned in Lausanne, Switzerland,
to be designed by Stefano Boeri. The second of its kind, the forest skyscraper is intended to blend modern architecture with natural flourishes, incorporating a total of 100 trees in its landscaping. Previously
Boeri had developed the ”
Bosco
Verticale” with similar visual concepts;
lush, growing plant life originating from each balcony. The development may pave the way for a new type of architecture in which nature is put to the forefront of the design.
